Polyphony's latest release of choral works by John Tavener on Hyperion contains six première recordings. The disc is Classic FM Magazine's Best Buy for October 2004, and the Guardian writes that 'Stephen Layton's superb choir, Polyphony, does wonders'.

November 2004 - John Tavener 60th Birthday Concert at the Barbican

Polyphony performs the London and UK premieres of works by John Tavener in honour of his 60th birthday on Friday 19 November at 7.30pm. The concert is part of the Barbican's Great Performers 2004/05 series and will include several works from the choir's latest release.
